Whoodle puppies!

My lovely Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Maisy gave birth to seven little Whoodles on 14th August. Mum & pups doing really well (& they’re apparently the only litter of whoodles in the UK this year)

Titan’s new look…

Titan the reindeer was trying out a new look this evening. I’m really not sure it’s going to catch on…

Naming Competition cria born (at last!!!)

Briza finally gave birth this afternoon to a striking little girl. We’re currently putting all the girl’s names you came up with in a hat (knitted from alpaca fibre of course).

Watch this space to see if you’re the winner…

Alpaca Walk and Felting Workshop – Aug 17th

This is the first time we’ve combined an alpaca walk & workshop using alpaca fibre – along with a treasure hunt & magic stick workshop for the younger members of the group – and it was a great success!

Please watch our website for details of future workshops – or get in touch if you’d like us to organise a bespoke workshop especially for your group.

Alpaca walks available daily – message or call if you’d like to book…

Another new arrival at Arkadia Alpacas

Fantasia gave birth this morning to a lovely grey boy – Phineas Potts.

That’s two girls & two boys so far – three more crias expected…

Paloma’s Promise

Toft Talini just gave birth to our latest arrival – a little girl we’ve named Paloma’s Promise. Her colouring is quite unexpected, but very beautiful.

Who’s a big boy then?

No, it’s not an alpaca after a growth spurt, it’s Spinach the llama at Catanger Llamas. He’s a very handsome chap & looking good at a record 21 years old

Two’s company

Our (nearly) matching pair of crias – Pinnacle Prince & Pinterry Princess, 4 & 7 days old now

Pinterry Princess

She’s two days old now – very energetic & inquisitive

Baby naming competition

This is Briza – her baby’s the one who will be named by the winning entry. ¬†She’s due to give birth any day now so watch this space…
