appreciation of the finer things in life
A bit of February sunshine today was really appreciated by our South American creatures at GGF.
It was time today to introduce this year’s cria and their mums to the far meadow. Lots of excitement at the vast expanse of lush green grass was followed by exploratory galloping before the herd reformed to settle down for the night.
After an extremely wet day on Saturday, the sun came out on Sunday and the alpacas (and the hand spun yarns) were a huge hit.

Fantasia gave birth this morning to a lovely grey boy – Phineas Potts. That’s two girls & two boys so far – three more crias expected…
Toft Talini just gave birth to our latest arrival – a little girl we’ve named Paloma’s Promise. Her colouring is quite unexpected, but very beautiful.
No, it’s not an alpaca after a growth spurt, it’s Spinach the llama at Catanger Llamas. He’s a very handsome chap & looking good at a record 21 years old
